Description
Add a touch of autumn charm to your home with this colourful handmade fused glass heart suncatcher, featuring a tactile autumn tree in vibrant shades of green, red and orange. The rich autumnal colours create a cheerful and eye-catching design, making this a lovely piece to display where it can catch the natural light.
Handcrafted in my home studio in Brixham, Devon, this heart-shaped suncatcher is made using individual pieces of glass that I carefully cut, arrange and layer by hand. Different pieces of glass are combined to create the tree and its colourful foliage, building up the tactile design before the piece is kiln-fired at high temperatures. The firing process can take up to 20 hours, allowing the layers of glass to fuse together and creating a unique piece of handmade glass art.
Every Livicraft suncatcher is made as a one-off design. I enjoy experimenting with different colours, shapes, textures and combinations of glass, and always try to create something different, so no two suncatchers are exactly the same. Each piece therefore has its own individual character and design.
Measuring approximately 96mm x 90mm, this fused glass heart suncatcher has a hole drilled at the top with a white ribbon threaded through, ready to hang in a window or sunny spot. The natural light shining through the colourful glass can bring the autumnal colours to life.
A lovely choice for anyone who enjoys colourful home décor, autumn colours and handmade glass art. It would also make a thoughtful gift for friends or loved ones who appreciate unique, handcrafted treasures.
