Description
Add a splash of colour and a touch of floral charm to your home with this set of two handmade fused glass flower suncatchers. Featuring quirky, tactile floral designs in vibrant shades of blue, green, white, red, pink and orange, these colourful pieces are a lovely way to brighten up a window or bring a cheerful accent to your home décor.
Handcrafted in my home studio in Brixham, Devon, each suncatcher is made using individual pieces of glass, carefully arranged to create a clear fused glass backdrop decorated with colourful glass powders. The flowers are formed from small pieces of glass, with glass stringers used to create the stems. These different elements are layered by hand before being kiln-fired at high temperatures, fusing the glass together to create two unique pieces of handmade glass art.
I enjoy experimenting with different colours, shapes and textures when creating my suncatchers, so each design has its own individual character. The playful flowers and raised details give these pieces a tactile finish that makes them especially distinctive.
Both suncatchers have a hole drilled at the top, ready for a ribbon to be threaded through for hanging in a window or another sunny spot. The natural light can bring out the colourful details and add a cheerful touch to your space.
The suncatchers measure approximately 68mm x 76mm and 67mm x 79mm.
A lovely choice for anyone who enjoys colourful home décor, flowers and handmade glass art, or a thoughtful gift for someone special.
