Description
Add a cheerful splash of colour to your home with this quirky handmade fused glass suncatcher, featuring a colourful lattice design in transparent blue and red glass. The simple geometric pattern gives the piece a contemporary feel, while the transparent colours allow the natural light to shine through and bring the design to life.
Handcrafted in my home studio in Brixham, Devon, this small suncatcher is made using individual strips of coloured glass that are carefully cut and arranged by hand to create the lattice pattern. The glass is then kiln-fired at high temperatures, allowing the pieces to fuse together and creating a unique piece of handmade glass art.
I enjoy experimenting with different colours, patterns and combinations of glass when creating my suncatchers, and each piece is made individually. This means every suncatcher has its own character and is a one-off piece rather than a mass-produced decoration.
Measuring approximately 88mm x 88mm, this colourful lattice fused glass suncatcher has a clear cord attached, ready to hang from a suitable hook. Hook not supplied. Hang it in a sunny window or bright spot where the light can pass through the transparent blue and red glass, creating a cheerful splash of colour in your room.
A lovely choice for anyone who enjoys colourful and quirky home décor, geometric designs and handmade glass art. It would also make a thoughtful gift for someone who appreciates unique handmade pieces.
