Description
Bring a touch of springtime colour into your home with this small handmade spring tree fused glass tree suncatcher. Featuring a tactile tree design in beautiful shades of plum, lilac, purple and green, this colourful piece captures the fresh feel of the changing seasons and makes a lovely decorative accent for a sunny window.
Handcrafted in my home studio in Brixham, Devon, this fused glass suncatcher is made using individual pieces of glass that are carefully cut, arranged and layered by hand. Different colours and textures are combined to create the tree design, giving the glass a raised, tactile finish. The piece is then kiln-fired at high temperatures, fusing the glass together to create a unique piece of handmade glass art.
Every Livicraft fused glass suncatcher is individually made, and I enjoy experimenting with different colours, shapes and combinations of glass to create distinctive designs. This spring-inspired tree brings together rich purple tones and fresh greens for a colourful decoration that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
A hole has been drilled at one corner of the square glass, allowing it to hang diagonally from the included ribbon and take on a diamond-like appearance. Display it in a window or another sunny spot where the natural light can illuminate the colours and textures.
Measurements: The glass measures approximately 69mm x 69mm. When hung diagonally, it measures approximately 96mm from top to bottom and 96mm across, excluding the ribbon.
A lovely choice for anyone who enjoys trees, nature-inspired designs and colourful handmade glass art. It would also make a thoughtful gift for someone special.
