Handcrafted in my home studio in Brixham, Devon, this suncatcher is made by carefully cutting and arranging individual strips of glass by hand. The red and yellow strips are positioned to form the lattice pattern before being kiln-fired at high temperatures. During the firing process, the pieces of glass fuse together to create a single piece of handmade glass art.
I enjoy experimenting with different colours, patterns and combinations of glass when creating my suncatchers, and each piece is made individually. This means every design has its own character and is a unique piece of handmade glass art.
Measuring approximately 87mm x 87mm, this small lattice fused glass suncatcher has a clear cord attached, ready to hang from a hook. Hook not supplied. Hang it in a sunny window or bright spot where the natural light can shine through the coloured glass and bring the rich red and yellow tones to life.
